"Skin" needles by jetr

"Skin" needles

These are also called "glover's" needles and have triangular shafts. They are used for piercing caribou, moose, and sealskin hides up here and, in my case, leather ornaments with my beaded snowflakes.
Interesting tool, certainly not known down here. We don't have caribou or moose, and our seals are merely to observed off the coast. Wound never have guess what these were.
