Actually, I think they are supposed to be Sandhill Cranes. Outside our lovely hotel in Anchorage, they just struck me as funny in this frozen climate! Happy Holidays, everyone!
@skipt07 Yes, Skip, we went from 66.8 (Shungnak) to 61.2 (Anchorage) latitude, so it's a wee bit warmer! A few days in the big city for some Civilization! Merry Christmas to you!
