I dabble a bit in ribbon embroidery and these wild irises are a common motif for me. They grow wild all over the arctic, in vast fields, and are quite beautiful. For Rainbow2017.

They tend to bloom in early summer and by then we have often flown south for the summer. It is truly a beautiful sight!
