I was opposed to the Peace Bridge being built across the Bow River in Calgary. It is now (finally) finished, but I will not cross it. It's a damn cool design, though, so I had to go take a look.
I also had to selectively colour this one due to distracting garbage in the water. I would've done it in-camera, but couldn't remember how to. Gerber daisy not mine.
@kidatheart@danig ~ It cost 25 million dollars, there is another footbridge 5 mins to the west of this one (literally - I timed it!), another one to the east (didn't time that distance) and it sticks out like a (red) sore thumb in the park area setting. But like I said...damn cool!
@chewyteeth ~ Ya, most new p&s cameras can do that. There might be some gold in there, but being designed by a fru-fru Spanish guy might've had something to do with the pricetag as well.
