Here's my best attempt at focus with background blurred out. I must have taken 50-75 trillium shots

Looks like you nailed it with this image! But, maybe a black backdrop would have made it easier and you could have further stopped down to get deeper DOF. ...maybe?

@hown didn't have any backdrops out on the logging road. lol. Interesting that I hadn't noticed this had a 5.6 F stop. I did several at F11 and F 8 but liked this one the best. I'm keeping learning for sure. Thanks for your ideas

@jgpittenger I have a very light nylon vest... I love the pockets and lack of weight...but, it has come in handy on many occasions as a backdrop. All you need is an extra pair of hands!
