Beast viewed large to see the boat details. We went to a new spot to watch the sunset and just as the ball of fire was about to fall into the ocean, a sailboat (under motor) appeared. I had a shot of it right in front of the sun but I liked this one better. I wish I'd had a longer lens with me. Thanks for all the tips on yesterday's shots. I know that takes extra time but it is how I learn and I really appreciate it.
Gorgeous! The colours are so beautiful, the roughness of the rocks and water contrasting beautifully with the muted soft clouds and yellow setting sun! Love it!
Superb! I think I prefer the boat where it is, but would love to see the other shot to know for sure. This way we get to appreciate the form of the sun and boat without the other interfering. Your foreground rock really makes this composition perfect.
