Play Between Light and Shadow On the Dappled Hills
One of the really hard things about going to a fabulous spot for shooting pictures is how overwhelming it is to sort through them and edit them when you get home and of course there are lots of other things screaming for attention. I guess I should be grateful that the weather outside is not very inviting for shooting. This shot was taken as we went back towards our cars after shooting the dunes at day break. The clouds and the light on the painted hills really caught my eye.
I am totally delighted with my dunes hikeer makinng the #10 spot! Thank you all so much.
I love the clouds with the band of blue sky, and the differing shades in the mountains. However, I do find the yellow in the corner pretty distracting, I kept looking at it trying to figure out what it was.
