I finally got my butt out with my camera to practice some of what I learned in Death Valley but the light was pretty flat and I've not yet caught up on my sleep. I don't particularly like this shot but it's the best I got.
@dawn_butler High Sierra workshops. They have a website. I learned of them through the Nikonians. Fabulous workshop...they put the curriculum and learning first and then choose places to shoot to practice what we are learning. I can hardly wait for another one
What a terrific collection of driftwood and textures. I really like the gentle colors here. I actually thought you may have HDR-ed it, now that I have seen what subtle HDR can look like.
