Question...I want to start a discussion and have no idea how to do it? Can someone advise?
I went back to the heron rookery and had all sorts of trouble with focusing given all the twigs and the trees leafing out. Sure is awesome though. There must have been 30 pairs- some building their nests, some sitting on eggs already apparently

@drewhuy@sabanford Only problem with manual was they were moving around so much and flying in and out so fast I couldn't do it fast enough. Thanks though
That's a perfect title, the one does have angel-wings while the other looks like he's a very good supervisor (not necessarily a good worker!) I love the almost iridescence on the open wing because of the foreground bokeh.
I've had to switch to manual in those situations, I can't wait for some camera setting that says "don't focus on brown" or something like that! Or even "autofocus in the range of 5-10 feet, no farther"
Gorgeous! Wow! This is great. I missed it when you posted it, but saw you mention it in your other picture's write up. This is artistic! And beautiful! Fav
