Hummingbird At My Feeder In October

Thanks to my friends here, I learned to make the syrup thicker for the winter and look who showed up! I am delighted.

So sweet! Perfect focus and DOF. A note about our earlier conversation-- in Photoshop, you can adjust the curve of your photo's tonalities so that the areas nearest to the shadows are more open, which allows more detail in the darker tones. If you do not do this before printing, sometimes these darker areas will fill in completely (plug up) so that you lose detail.
