As promised, a couple of shots from Hawaii. We must have gotten to swim with wild dolphins atleast six of the days. I didn't take my camera the first couple because I just wanted to enjoy it and then the first couple of days with my new underwater camera were very disappointing. I really like this close up though I wish I had had time to frame it so his tail wasn't cut off!
On the other hand, this is "goodbye, farewell, au revoir, auf wiedersehen." I've struggled with the time spent on the site for many months and taking the time off and realizing how many hours it frees up to take pictures, study photography, enjoy my family, my decision became clear. I have loved sharing this journey with you, have gained so much as a photographer with your help, have made such lovely connections and friendships all over the world. But the time has come to leave. Jane.. instant fav.. and I am heartbroken. I have followed you for so long. Are you on Facebook?? As the middle of December, I have struggled with the site myself and have thought to leave too, but I guess my time is not here yet. I will miss you.. :-)

Jane, I think you know that you are one of my favorites here, so I will certainly miss you. You have my email, so please let me know if you are ever in SE Idaho or the Grand Teton area. I expect to drop off or convert to a weekly project at the end of two years as well. It's been a pleasure.

Great capture of the dophin! I had a magical experience swimming with dolphins off Maui once, no camera to record the event, but it's emblazoned forever in my mind! I'm sure you felt the same! Good Luck!

Oh no Jane, what a shocking surprise....I will sincerely miss your posts, as I have the last few weeks, and especially your honest and positive critique which has really helped me to pay more attention to the detail in my pictures. Hope you'll have lots of fun with your photography and learning in future...
