Sunset from the Driveway with New Moon

We were watching an episode of "Monk" after dinner with all our shades drawn. When it was over, we opened the shades and saw the color of the sky. There wasn't time to go any place where the composition would be better but I grabbed my camera, flashlight and tripod and ran up the driveway with just my shirt on. The no-see-ums were terrible and I am still itching, but there are some colors you just can't miss!

Luckily the image lasts longer than the itch from insect bites! :) this was well worth the effort and later discomfort - a great capture of a special moment from nature. Love the composition and colours.
