Our last day and the surf is still really high. We saw the dolphins from a distance and found a place we could swim and be safe...but we didn't see them until we were already tired and had a steep 3 mile hike straight up to get back. All in all a wonderful trip and some well appreciated relaxing time with Jim. We fly back tomorrow but don't actually get home until the day after.

@catwhiskers yes, they come into the bay..usually just after dawn and most predictably ( though not this year) at full moon and the week before and a day or two after. It's a good swim to them but hugely worth it
This is really, really beautiful. If it were mine I think I'd print, frame and hang it. Fav of course! Glad you had a good time even if you didn't get to swim with the dolphins as much as you would have liked.
So, do they come into the bay and you can just go out and swim with them on your own? That would be soooo cool!
