The reason we went to Newport for a photoshoot was to go see what was happening with the peregrine falcons. Last year I got to watch the whole process and those of you who have been following me for a while probably saw those photos. There weren't any eggs yet when I was there last week but the female is spending more time in the nest and he is bringing her some food. I wish that my angle had been lower so the bird in his talons would have been easier to see, but I still was pretty pleased with the shot given how incredibly fast they move and that my longest lens is a 300mm.
