Sweet Creek Manual Blending by jgpittenger

Sweet Creek Manual Blending

We've had tons of rain this yer (106" since October at our house), so the streams are full. A friend and I took a trip to Sweet Creek and I have only just begun looking at them. This was taken for my mentoring group's "natural" HDR theme. I manually blended two exposures in PS...masking out the water from the brighter exposure. Best on black.
Thanks so much for your input re yesterday's sunset shots and for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
@taffy @golftragic @pamknowler @888rachel @newbank another entry for our theme

I love the water in this Jane - lovely and silky. The whole image looks a little dark on my screen which makes it a bit flat. I think a tad more brightness in the greenery would make the shot pop.

I love the silky effect of the water. Oh to have some decent rainfall again, our poor little creek that runs through town is looking sad :)

Lovely milky water Jane. What an impressive sight. Holey Moley, 106" in 6 months, we'd be lucky if we've had 106 pts!!
