hummer glass

An Amazing photographer friend of mine submitted an iris that looked like glass to our recent photo critique night. It was stunning. He told me how he did it and I decided to try it with one of the hummers I took a couple of days ago. It didn't turn out looking like glass at all. It could be that there is too much detail in the bird to work but i spent lots of time on it so figured I would post it.
