How Many Hummers Can a Feeder Feed ?

A while back I rad an article by a photographer talking about post processing and he said that he used it to make the photo show what he had seen. It was thought provoking. So, this IS what I've been seeing but in order to get most of them in focus given the need for high shutter speed and wide aperture, I layered several different shots. Does it work?
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs

This is splendid and an instant fav. I know I've sometimes used processing to try to make a capture convey the emotional impression the subject made on me.

Absolutely! Amazing image!. Thanks for the tip also. I am constantly on the hunt for a good hummingbird capture. Maybe I should try layering. I never think mine look good because of the high ISO. You and I have the same camera Jane, so I aspire to capture a few good ones like yours someday. Oh, and Fav!

Boggles me, on how this was done. It does work, very well. Your processing is seamless. Very nice job.

This absolutely works! As @rosiekerr said, it's seamless and when I first looked at it, all I could wonder is how all of them would be around each other given how territorial they are. BIG smile to read how you created it. It's fantastic!

@taffy this is actually just how it looks. They fight but they also are desperate for food and hang out waiting for spots

Wow I am always impressed by the amazing effects you can get with post processing and yes this works.

wonderful! Works for me! Even better that this is actually what you're seeing. I wouldn't be able to walk away if that was going on outside my window.
