Looking South Over Baker Beach to the Milky Way

Best of course on black if you have time. I had a meeting I had to go to last night but afterwards Jim was willing to come and be a companion so I could shoot the stars and feel safe. I have to say, I adore shooting the milky way. It feels like being in the presence of God.

I am always in awe of the Milky Way photos... this is one of my favorites! The light along the horizon, the rambling line of the waves on the shore, with that Milky Way cascading up into the sky... Wow! Thank Jim for going with you for the rest of us!

Spectacular capture, there's nothing more beautiful than seeing the Milky Way in these conditions. I saw it a few times while out in the middle of the ocean in the Carribean and Tahiti.
