Best on black. We are having the West side of our house painted and they had to take the bat houses down for a couple days. When they first came down, the bats were sleeping but they gradually woke up and flew off. They were wonderful to watch. I love his little ears.

Wow Jane! Really phenomenal photo of this rarely seen creature in a lovely setting. Big FAV! (I've had bat houses I made up for years, and never any residents. They prefer my attic. LOL)
@rickster549 most of the bats came with the house and gradually woke and flew. Houses are back up tonight. Hopefully they will return tomorrow morning for some sleep
