Yes, this color is real! The sun was setting behind me and putting this gorgeous light on the snag. A group of us were all set up beside Crater Lake to shoot the Milky Way that was to appear in the perfect spot mirroring the snag. Unfortunately the haze and clouds rolled in and I went home to bed happy that at least I had gotten to enjoy this beautiful light and sight!
