@roseikerr@taffy and @junko arrived yesterday and we had a lovely day exploring Crater Lake together. The days before I had noticed that the sunset might well be better from the other side of the lake so we found this spot with the gorgeous volcanic cliff edges on left and tiny phantom ship island visible in distance on left. It was freezing and apparently we were shooting from the windiest spot on the lake but beautiful nonetheless. Best on black.

Wonderfully captured! I love your sunburst, too. Those clouds were ominous and offered texture to the sky. It's interesting to see photos taken side by side, yet so different. Love your take on it! (stumped about how to deal with my fake-looking sun burst. . . . )
