Looking Up in Snowy Ponderosa Pine

After going to Moran Point for "sunrise" and sitting there in the car for 2 hours waiting for the fog to rise, we went to photograph in a lovely ponderosa pine forest. I got absorbed with photographing up inside this magnificent tree. I loved the graceful and sometimes spooky branches and the color against the soft green of the needles.

Such a fabulous POV. I also love the texture of the bark and the twisting branches against the softness of the snowy leaves.
