Careful Black Pearl by jgpittenger

Careful Black Pearl

We had partially sunny moments between cloud bursts and intense hail and chose one to walk on the beach. I didn’t dare to bring my real camera so just had my phone. We watched while a seagull dove into the surf to catch this crab and then seemed afraid of the still moving claws. Pearl was of course curious and almost got pinched. I loved her nose bravely checking it out.

Awesome capture. Glad she didn't get pinched by that crab. That would really hurt. I know. I've been bit. :-)

You can almost feel it moving - brave dog - or rather, quite curious dog I imagine. Made a neat shot.

Lol Jane - I could just see my Zoe doing the same thing - and then yelping madly if it latched onto her!! Such a lovely natural catch of the catch that got away! :)
