We finally had a sunny day and I went back to see if I could capture more action at the osprey nest. There wasn't much going on. After being there for about an hour, I turned off my camera, put the lens cap on, and was climbing into my car when I looked up and saw an eagle pair flying overhead...close! By the time I got my camera back on and aimed, they'd gone and there was only the moon. I feel like a fisherman telling stories about how big the fish was that got away! Well, I had some eagle shots from a couple of days ago so I put them in where they would have been if I'd still had my camera in my hands. I bet you can understand.

Perfect editing, you would never know it was a composite. Don't you hate that when a photo opportunity disappears before your eyes.
