By far better on black. I wanted to see what the dunes would look like in mono too. This is a slightly different photo than the one I posted of the photographer in the dunes last week.

Yes, you're right Jane. The colour version was good, but a tad flattish, this one fair stands off the page (well, screen) with those strong lines in the multitude of contours. A much better feeling of depth IMHO.
