When we were in Hawaii in March (it seems like at least a year ago!), we had one day when we were swimming at "2 Step" on the Big Island and there must have been over 100 dolphins. They were going down to the bottom of the ocean to sleep where they looked like lines in the sand. And then suddenly they would come up for air and be under us, around us, in front of us. One of them just barely missed making contact with my side. It was awe inspiring, thrilling, a peak experience. I didn't have my under water camera with me that day. The day I took this photo, the water was more hazy and they were far farther away, but it was still sweet.

This is a magnificent experience, I have been diving in the Pacific and Indian Ocean but never had the chance to dived with a school of dolphin. I have seen loads of them swimming next to the boat but whenever we entered the water thy left :(
