I was looking around the house for something to photograph given the state of the air quality outdoors. This sea shell reminded me of slot canyons. I practiced focus stacking once again and like how it came out.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs and for your kind words of support. We feel ever so lucky to still be in our home and not evacuated or worse yet dead. My heart goes out to so many fellow West Coast people. Also, I am happy to let you know my back is bette.
Lovely image! I must learn focus stacking.
Glad to hear your back is better!
I hope you can stay safely in your home. Watching what is happening in the West makes me grateful every day for our clean air and no fires (knock knock). Hope they can get your fires under control asap.
I imagine you're looking at indoor shooting for a while. That smoke is unbelievable - and it we're seeing it here, I can't imagine what it is like there. This is a beautiful shot. Going to have to watch some videos on this focus stacking - love the sharpness you got with it.
Perfection! Praying still for your safety and the wildfires to be managed and controlled. May the Lord send enough rain to dampen the fires without causing mudslides and flooding. My heart breaks for the people, domestic pets and wildlife and their habitat.
I remember diving for these when I took diving lessons decades ago. I had the shell for years but have no idea what's happened to it. Yours is in beautiful shape and I like the title for interpreting what we're seeing.
