Best on black. My next assignment for the course I am taking from PSA (Photography Society of America) is with architecture...not my forte nor do we have a lot of interesting structures here. But I figured I would take advantage in a break in the rain to at least photograph our local bridge.

What a great choice for using this for your assignment. And I love the look to the walkway under the bridge with the wetness. You've composed it so nicely with those arches
Needless to say I like this image very much and it certainly meets the brief. Given what I've been learning lately I wonder what a tight crop would look like, one that removes the background entirely. Totally different image of course, and that may not work at all. Just a thought.
Great job with something that pushes you a bit. It's a bit cliche, but I wonder if a long exposure would help focus things on the bridge more than the river.
