This was from our last morning in Death Valley. I had slept really badly and it was hard to drag myself out of bed. My Sherpa husband worked as hard trying to cheer lead as he did in kindly carrying much of my gear. But when we were finally out there, the lines and layers and hints of dawn light pulled me in
What a great sight. Your shots here have been wonderful, we visited Vegas some while ago and did just a visit to death valley, lovely to see more of it.
Fav from me. This is a very untraditional dune photo. The light is quite flat, so you needed something else to make it special. The repeating peaks of sand, zigzag line, and the amazing blue of the background mountains make this a wonderful image.
