Stellar Jay Surverying His Territory

While I was waiting for the hummers to get more used to me yesterday, I spied this stellar jay hanging out on the peak of our roof. I thought he looked pretty regal despite his hair do!

Beautiful Jane!!! Currently they are on my dog do list. LOL I find that if they are in the yard( speaking form just my perspective) they are up to no good. They tend to raid other birds nests. Especially humming bird nests. Keep a look out, you may have a humming bird nest in your yard:-))
