Bear Munching Below the House

The grass below the deck is very long since there are camas lilies still blooming that Jim doesn't want to cut. I thought he was pretty cute in the middle of the grass...reminds me of Ferdinand the bull of children's book fame. He seems to have a patch of fur gone on his left side. I wonder what the story is with that.
