Glass

Best on black. Our photo club's contest next month is glass. I photographed a beautiful glass sculpture that we have created by a woman named Karin Richardson. I placed my Christmas bottle lights inside it for lighting. This shot was taken in the daytime and I tried all different directions but couldn't get rid of the glare of the daylight coming through the curtains. Which do you prefer?

I see a face in this one, in the lower 1/4. The colors come out more, of course, and it looks great against the black background.

A difficult choice, but I prefer this one. Reflections give it space and texture. The other one is flatter.
