Great Grandmother Cedar by jgpittenger

Great Grandmother Cedar

As we hike up to the horse trails from our house, we pass this amazing candelabra shaped cedar tree. Years ago I called it "grandmother cedar" but now that I am a grandmother and have grandchildren old enough that I could be a gret grandmother, I realize she is at least a great grandmother. She is getting so heavily weighted on the South side that the roots are beginning to rise out of the ground on the North. I sure hope she stays standing lots more years.
