I love this shot and have wanted to find a sky to echo the majesty of the mountains in Glacier National Park. I suppose it is too much and detracts from the kayakers but I like it anyway.

I do like it a lot as an artistic result. The sky seems somewhat brighter than I would have expected in real life, but the curves of the clouds and layers in the sky are too good not to have melded with these mountains. Fantastic composition!
I love, love this! The sky is unbelievable and the kayakers give it such amazing scale! I can almost feel what they must be feeling, seeing it all from their perspective. Beautiful!
That's a gorgeous sky that balances the gorgeous mountains . . . and you're right, the kayakers are a little lost because our attention is drawn upward. The kayakers are well placed (thanks to them for being cooperative) and the red/orange one shows up because of the color.
beautiful, majestic image. love the sky. I was once lucky enough to briefly see Glacier National Park when I was a young 20-something. I would love to go back.
