Wish I'd Had My Bird Lens

Jim usually carries it for me since my back is iffy but he is recovering from a bad cold that even had us in the ER night before last...so we saved his energy for just walking without my camera. I still liked the eagle perched on the rocks on the edge of the ocean.

I quite like this wide shot, with the surf crashing behind the eagle.
Hope Jim is feeling better soon.

This is a lovely capture sans bird lens. I finally convinced my friend to go to the ER, she kept saying she had a bad cold, as it turned out she had pneumonia. I’m glad your husband was proactive, upper respiratory issues are a big deal.

I hope your hubby is feeling better. A great shot, without the bird lens, it provides also nice view of the scenery.

As others have commented, I also like this wide perspective. The horizontal lines of the sea and rocks really add the sense of the eagle surveying her/his realm.

Love the way this one is composed, Jane. And the colors are terrific together - love the incoming waves.
