Bokeh Dahlia

I've been experimenting with bokeh since our camera club's next competition is bokeh. I kind of like this one. Opinions?

The dahlia really stands out from the background. The background has such a natural look. Lovely shot.

I would make one tiny change, and pick the pink flower in the background so that you have more uniformly yellow bokeh. It would look nice in a vase anyway, wouldn't it?

That's an idea but I like the echo of pink in the yellow, so it stays!

Effective composition and I love your Dahlia!
I read you like the pink bokeh flower in the backdrop - why not try to add more? But looks great as is really :)
