I like this so much more than the previous version. It feels more painful and compelling, which justifies the subject. One could tweak almost endlessly, with the size and opacity of the mask, along with the fleeing innocent critters below, but I like the primal scream feel of the mask's expression. Try brushing out (softening) the jaw lines on the left and right side of the mask's face, if you have the patience, where they meet the mountains. Super edit.
This is a powerful update. Whatever Rosie had suggested was right on target. The scream seems to leap from the image. If you do blend as Rosie suggested, it will seem to be emerging from the chaos of the destruction. This was well worth your time.
