B&W & Moody by jillhempsall

B&W & Moody

This afternoon I went for a wander (without the dog) to Melbourne Hall and Gardens. Parts of the hall date back to the 16th Century and the gardens are early 18th Century. Melbourne in Australia took it's name (indirectly) from the village of Melbourne, Derbyshire. This place is only open three afternoons a week - slightly 'inconvenient' when you would prefer to catch the early morning light. By the afternoon the clouds were looming - which actually makes for extra detail in the photo. Not a large place, but really nice for a quiet wander.

It is moody , and a black and white with lots of character.

Great tonal range, better for not being a crystal clear reflection across the image.
