Dirty Glass

So funny that today I open up 365 to find this thread: http://365project.org/discuss/general/2146/what-to-photograph-when-you-just-don-t-give-a-damn because that's exactly how I was yesterday.

What did I do? I took a crap photo of my 85mm lens with its filthy filter, converted it to b&w, and added textures until the person sitting beside me said, "That's so cool! It looks so dark and grungy!"

Thanks everyone! It truly was a case of "....." *holds up lens* *shoots, twice (just to make sure)* "Now what?" ... "I'll edit it tomorrow." I did like the effect created by focussing through the lens, to get the inverted image. That's as far as my creative process went.
