I almost feel guilty posting a color photo after my black and white series, but don’t worry plenty more B&W will be coming down the dowad.
So fall is here. I think that fall is the most photogenic season. Nature’s colors are just spectacular. I know it’s my favorite season. Now I’m very lucky to have a house in Vermont. I think that it’s one of the most scenic places on earth.
So let’s put the 2 together and take fall foliage pictures in Vermont. Not a bad photo to be found anywhere.
Yes I’m jumping the gun just a bit, will not look like this for another week or so. But I can’t wait. So here is one from last October 5th on the road that my house is on in Wardsboro Vermont.
This is one of my favorite photos from the past year. I hope it becomes one of your from my album.
Thank you for posting this in color. We do not have a real fall here, and I just love looking at your gorgeous display of autumn colors. Wonderful shot.
I was in Vermont one year in late September so only caught the beginnings of the picture postcard colours - would love to see it at it's height so thanks for the personal photo.
Beautiful! I don't have a lot of colors that show up on my property here in the midwest and was wanting to see some pics from the more scenic areas of our great land, thanks for sharing!
Yellow, blue, green, red - wow pic - and I'm starting to see it here in NH too. Hence my pic today. I'm really looking forward to this leaf-peeping experience and the photo ops it will inspire.
This is simply fabulous! Autumn is my favorite season too, and I love Vermont! We're planning a trip to visit my parents for Columbus Day weekend and I hope the leaves haven't all fallen by then. My parents live in Windham, which I believe is close to Wardsboro.
This is gorgeous. I love autumn for so many reasons. I haven't made it to Vermont or NH during that season (or anytime) yet, but it's on my bucket list.
Gorgeous!! As soon as I saw this I thought 'this feels like Vermont'. Love those country roads in Vt. Sadly will be missing the fall foliage festival in the NEK, but hopefully some will hold on for the following weekend.
I am going to follow you because of todays and yesterdays pics! I hope to visit New England some year in the fall to be able to see these beautiful places - but for now I will just see it through your camera. Thanks for the comment on my pic today.
Stunning! I love driving or horseback riding these old country roads....especially this time of the year. I can almost feel the breeze and the cool air.
Joseph, I wish I took this photo. ;) This is absolutely perfect. The trees haven't turned much yet in Iowa, but I'm so looking forward to when they do! Fave!
Hello Joseph - This so beautiful, and so New England. You have such a great "eye" for photographs; the composition here is so wnderfully pleasing to the eye. (When may I come and visit???) :-)B well, Les
I wore out the wheel on the mouse to say that the way you are presenting VT, New England is just terrific. Makes me proud. Up there, there is beauty in every direction, in every season. Lucky you!
I cannot imagine a more perfect location nor photograph that represents fall better, than this. What a joy it must be, during this season, to walk, ride or drive down this road. I think I should never progress any further than this spot, if I lived near here! Well, during fall season that is. ;)
Congratulations on making the Top 20, Joseph! Way to go; I'm pleased that soooo many people saw this wonderful picture of our New England Autumn. You did us proud Joseph, Les
