OMG - I cannot believe that I took this yesterday afternoon.
Around 4:30 I went to Glen Island in New Rochelle and never expected to find such a dramatic cloud filled sunset. You just have to view this one large. It looks 10 times better up on my large monitor. There's nothing else I can say about this one.
I shot almost 200 photos while I was there. This had only very minimal post processing - only slight adjustments to the exposure and contrast. The color and temp is SOOC.
Shame that you cannot FAV your own photo as this does not happen often. This may be the best photo that I have put on 365 to date
@jml0306 Absolutely! This is a beautiful photo and I would love to share. Must make sure to give credit where credit is due. And you, sir, have earned a place on my board with the likes of Bill Dodsworth with this magnificent shot of yours.
This is just beautiful, Joseph! Isn't it so exciting to be able to capture something like this! I wish you could fav it too but since you can't, I will fave for you and me! :o)
when we moved to vermont, i would ride my morgan, turn corners, see views that would bring tears to my eyes they were so beautiful. you named your photo perfectly, Joseph. fav. lump in my throat, and in complete agreement. best yet.
I'm probably my own worst critic, but once in a rare blue moon I get that one killer shot that even I can't find any fault with. So I totally get whatcha feelin' with this one. Don't ya love when that happens?
That is a gorgeous shot, Joseph! Even better is how excited you come across when you know you have "the" shot! I love how enthused you get with your photography!! FAV
so if you change the contrast and exposure, doesn't that affect the color and temp? seems to me like they are all related.
it is a pretty shot, the clouds are gorgeous
@paulaag the color saturation level is the main component of color. very slight adusments were made, I INCREASED the brightness very little which would lighten the colors. the contrast as also softened again which would lead to less or softer color
