Just had to run over to the Hudson River in Manhattan this morning for the Space Shuttle Enterprise flyover. Got to see it twice as Nasa flew it up the across the Statue of Liberty, up the Hudson River on the west side of NY up into Westchester and then back down the Hudson on it's way to JFK airport.
Just a awesome experience.
Got some great shots both times it passed
Very historic and cool. My childhood was spent watching the shuttle launches from FL. So strange that the era is over. I'd love to see a shot of this and Lady Liberty!
Oh, I was so hoping someone on here would get a chance to take pictures of the Enterprise arriving in NY. Thanks for sharing, Joseph! It is an outstanding shot. A fav.
Beautiful capture and tribute shot, Joseph. I remember watching on tv the shuttle riding piggyback on the Boeing 747 during the trials before it came in service. Time flies indeed.
Great shot Joe!!!
