Cracking focus on this. There's no EXIF data in the details so I couldn't check the details - but it just occured to me Marloes @stimuloog also shoots with a 60mm lens and gets generally excellent results. What was the set-up for this?

@peadar Thanks Peter. I work on a computer all day so am not thrilled to sit in front of one in the evening. My upload choice is via my iPad but no EXIF data transfers with this method. This was hand held, shot with my 70D, 60mm macro, 640 ISO, f4.0, 1/200 SS,

@jnorthington Very helpful, thanks. If you can bear one more question, how do you transfer images from your camera to your iPad?

The 70d has a wireless function. I have the Canon app on my iPad. It can be finicky at times though.
