Basking In The Sun

A hot and humid day doesn't seem to bother this turtle as it is just basking in the sun.

Is that duck weed on the pond? Horrible stuff to get rid of. Poor little turtle is covered.

@paul10 - Not sure what it is - we were on a hike when we spotted this. There were a few other turtles swimming around so I guess they are not bothered by it.
