Just some film stuff from a few weeks back, as I've not shot anything interesting this past week. Too busy. Or something. Waiting for summer vacation, actually. ;)

Oh, yeah, this is from Helsinki. Your regular tourist shot.

But it's *not* your regular tourist shot! The juxtaposition of the tram cables and the ancient building is fantastic. Two worlds coexisting. Any tourist shot taken from a different angle tells a story.

Aso, this film is awfully pretty.

@louuncouth The film is really quite nice. :) Ilford FP4 125, to be exact. And ok, perhaps not the most typical tourist shot angle, but definitely something every tourist in Helsinki shoots. The cathedral. I thought I needed a twist, and the lamps and the cables were it. And the black lump of a van. :D

@joa Yes, the shiny van keeps drawing my eye :) I wonder what sort of spy equipment they have set up in there....
Taking creative pics of iconic subjects has to be the ultimate challenge. I'd like to try a series on it. Though I guess it's really just an excuse to travel...

@louuncouth Any excuse is a good excuse for travel! ;)
@humphreyhippo They do have a certain appeal, crisscrossing the shot. :)
