A shot from last week's festival - I'm in the middle of editing all the hundreds of shots, which is turning out to be a slow process thanks to the heat wave we're experiencing. Can't keep the computer on for too long (as it overheats) and it's ridiculously hot in my study anyway.
However, this shot I like. It's the singer Olli Herman of Reckless Love. Displaying some rockin' attitude. I'm diggin' the pose.
Heat wave? What's that? After we had the coldest winter, we are now experiencing the coldest summer (dropping down to 9C at night - ick!). I think I need to move to Finland. ;) I don't envy all the processing you do - but I guess being live at the concert makes it worth it. Have you checked out this person's 365 ( http://365project.org/tande/365/2014-07-25)? You both have something in common! ;)
@kass Yeah, the whole July (almost) has been +25 to +30C (and even up to +32C) and there's no end in sight to this heat. Night temperatures around +20C now. It was unusually cold in June (effing snow on the ground during Midsummer weekend...) and now it's unusually hot. So yes, feel free to move, it's really weird here, too. :D But yes, these pics from the festival are the result of sweat, sweat and some more sweat. Although it has to be said that the photopit was the best place to be during the gigs, as there was a huge fan thingy blowing cool air at us. So forcefully that my camera was shaking! :D Too bad we were only allowed two songs per artist in the pit, I would've liked to stay near the fan for sure... :D
And hey, thanks for pointing her project out to me, I followed her right away. Even though I'm not posting regularly anymore. :)

@northy Thanks so much for the fav! :) Our June was unbelievably sucky (yay for two weeks of it in Rome!) but July (and apparently half of August, at least) is looking really toasty... I don't mind the heat outside, as long as I can get to the seaside regularly and swim a bit, but the heat inside my apartment I hate. @janim Hahhah, Olli on ihan liian nätti mun makuuni. :D Mut ymmärrän kyllä, jos joltain pääsee "oih"... :P @susale Heh, well, us photographers were only allowed in the photopit for the two first songs, so he didn't get rid of his shirt fast enough. And in fact, I didn't even see that part of the gig, as I had to leave pretty soon after those two first songs. Had a more interesting man waiting for me outside the festival area... ;) Mut joo, hyvä kun Olli osaa tän rokkikukkoposeerauksen, siitä sai pari oivaa otosta - vaikkakin sitten paita päällä. :D
@joa Joo kyllähän reality beats fantacy at any time :) Good for you :) Ja kyllä tossa kohtaa alko itekkin jo hyytyy, ku oli kuiteskin jo alottanut ennen neljää POTF:lla mut ihan pakko oli kattoo Leningrad cowboys vielä, on se kuiteskin sellasta vetoo mitä harvemmin näkee. Kuuma oli kyllä!
@susale Heh, no mä olin pressillä koko DBTL:n läpi ja olin perjantaina myös aloittanut Poetsilla. Tarkoitus oli kyllä katsoa LC myös, mutta... ;) Ilta jatkui sitten aamupuolelle niin pitkään, että pääsin ekalla aamubussilla kotiin ennen seiskaa. Sitten kolmen tunnin unet ja takaisin festarialueelle. The Rasmuksen jälkeen väsähdin lauantaina. :D @janim Juu, teoriassa oli kyllä "huge metal fan", hehhee. Mut se oli kyllä vaan sellainen jätti-ilmastointiputki siinä pitin puolella. Kai siellä jossain oli se "fan" myöskin. :D
