Shot my first wedding in July. It was loads of fun. Editing the shots has been a slow process (fortunately the couple has been, right from the start, very understanding and not in a hurry to get the shots), but now I'm finally getting closer to the finish line. Only the bridal party portraits and some guest portraits left to be edited. Which is only about 30 or so shots, I'd say - after a whopping 350 I've already delivered to them...
I kinda liked how this turned out. It's the first dance of Ida and Mouha.

@susale :D I have been feeling SUPER pink and fluffy today. Cotton candy stuff to the max. :D So there was no way I could post a dark shot. Too much love in the air. ;)

@susale Joo, mä pystyn synkistelemään paljon paremmin marraskuussa. Tai tammikuussa, jos ei oo lunta. *synk synk* Mut toisaalta, voi olla, että en pysty. :D :D :D
Weddings can be such a stress.. I've done officially one, another ahead next summer. It's not the day that's the problem, but the work after.. Next summer I might be out of a day job, so much more time to work on the pics!
@tande That's exactly how it is! I didn't mind the 11-hour wedding day, as I was treated more like a guest than a photographer (I knew the bride's mother), but damn, it's been a lot of work to get through the 1000+ images I shot during the day. :D
@joa luckily the couple is patient with you as well! :) I had the wedding at the end of September, around Christmas I got the last pics to them.. I did got the posed pics for thank you cards sooner.
@janim Mä tykkäsin myös. Ensimmäisen tanssin kuvaaminen on haastavaa, mutta aika hienoa, kun tanssin aikana pari kuitenkin "häviää" jonnekin oman vaaleanpunaisen universuminsa sisälle. :) Serkunkin häistä paras kuva oli just tanssista. Morsiamet on niiiiin fiiliksissä. :D @shannejw Thank you! I liked the emotion in the shot and thought that a little extra softness would fit it. Seems people agree with me, which is nice. :)
@northy Hahah, my camera SUCKS at ISO 6400! But thank goodness for a) NIK Dfine which does a great job with noise reduction and b) NIK Color Efex soft focus filter & glamour glow effect... :D (And of course the magic that is Silver Efex.)
@joa Kauniita kuvia kyllä. Mäkin oon kuvannut kahet häät. Kummassakin olin myös vieras mutta kyllä se silti ihan työltä tuntu! Nyt kesällä, ku olin yksissä häissä, joissa oli virallinen kuvaaja, ni mä en ottanut ensimmäistäkään kuvaa, vaikka mulla oli kamera mukana :D Ja kyllä niitä kuvia nyt napsii mut se käsittelyosuus, tsissus:D!! Hienosti selvisit haastavasta tehtävästä ( tumma sulhanen), mun kuvaamat häät oli kummatkin talvella ja se oli kanssa oma haasteensa, kun valoa ei ikinä ollut riittävästi ja välillä sai tunkee kaikki säädöt ihan tappiin -jos joku viel pyytää mua kuvaamaan niitten häät, niin niitte on paras mennä sitten naimisiin kesällä :D
