Under the misty rainbow

I love this phenomenon, a fogbow! :D A rainbow made out of mist! It's sort of difficult to see, but it's there!

Yeah, today's photowalk was a short one. Got up at 9 am (I don't know where that came from...), noticed it was still foggy outside, got dressed and walked straight to the riverside. Managed to get a few misty shots before breakfast. Not bad. Didn't have to get up before dawn and didn't need to drive an hour to get to location. Nice for a change.

Now that you mention it, why is it that all cool photographs must occur at ungodlyhours?

@louuncouth Just so that life wouldn't be too easy? :P Although it has to be said that about 10 am (I do seem to have forgotten to change the time in my camera again this past spring...) isn't too bad, as far as times go. ;)

@kass I saw the phenomenon for the first time last year in September, when I was on my sunrise photo hike. I had to look at least twice to understand what I was seeing. :)
