Rainbow lorikeets

In the Grevillea honeygem
great birds aren't they? noisy & colourful

After being in the US for 7 weeks and seeing hardly any birds at all, it was wonderful to come home to our feathered friends and be woken up in the morning by a cacophony sounds from butcher birds, magpies, rainbows, cockys etc. And the last couple of nights, the curlews have been on the prowl. Music to our ears.
