The goldfinch is getting brighter. Today we got rain instead snow and the spring snoweater, fog showed up tonight. Of course we may have snow again by morning. Made it to work today.
I so envy you these Joan, for some reason we don't get them in the garden although those around us do: same thing with the nuthatches. Hope that he really is a harbinger of Spring.
@vignouse Sometimes they feed on the ground too. I am really pleased with the variety I have had at the feeder. It has been worth every penny I have spent on it. Hope I can get hummingbirds this summer. Putting in a bird bath this spring. Do you have one?
@francoise I am never at the window alone though sometimes she seems jealous that I am paying attention to the birds and other times mad because I have scared them off with my approach.
